Retirement
Description
Gathered under this theme are the images and stories which document the autobiographers' experiences of retirement. Many noted how they approached this time in their life with some anxiety but over time settled into a new pattern and developed their interests and passions. Some used this time as a chance to pursue their personal ambitions by returning to education. Others enhanced their expertise in hobbies such as golf, bowls, painting and creative writing.
