Text

It would appear I couldn't help getting involved and doing my best to promote the things near and dear to me. Even in work I was on the committee and president of the Northern Ireland Sub Postmasters and on the Ulster Savings Committee at the invitation of Maynard Sinclair, the Minister of Finance at Stormont. I was also delighted to be awarded the MBE from the Queen - I'm not quite sure for what but the honour was greatly appreciated. For many years I have been involved with the Belfast marathon, manning a water station on the Antrim Road, helped by ladies and gents from Cavehill Bowling Club. It is great fun and we are very pleased to repay the city council who give so much support to many sports.
