Text
I now take up my story on 14th August 1975, the day I made my first profession in the Convent of Mercy, Crumlin Road. That was a wonderful day and I was so excited about going forward and taking my temporary vows of poverty, chastity, obedience and the service of the people of God in works of mercy. The ceremony was private to the sisters and Fr Michael Murray who was dean of St Malachy' s College and chaplain to the convent at that time, offered the Mass while Sr. Mary Dolores Morton received my vows.Later, my whole family arrived for lunch and we had a fantastic day together with a beautiful meal, music and craic. My parents were also very happy that I had arrived at this day, and I know they were very proud of me.
