Text

I retired from Royal Victoria Hospital in the year 1996. I worked there for 25 years. The last day at work was a good day for me. The staff had a party. Lots of lovely things to eat. Dr Smith,Dr. Barr and most of the laboratory staff attended. 'Elvis' was also there!! I felt sad at leaving R.V.H. I have very good friends since. Christmas cards, meeting up going to Waterfront Theatre for various shows, musical evenings and telephone calls. When I retired I took up Patchwork classes in the Tec in Belfast. I have made 3 patchwork quilts. I also got a greenhouse ' growing tomatoes and grapes. Usual gardening.
