A friend and I had a holiday arranged for the following week after my retirement to Bournemouth for two weeks. Had a lovely time. Good walks on the beautiful beaches. Nice condition for swimming. Bournemouth was one of my favourite places. My friends and I could go on holiday at any time. We were very fond of the south of England from Brighton to Torquay, also Wales and went often Scotland. We had visited in Europe , were now able to book some special tours which were advertised.I was now able to spend more time with friends. I had a friend in Carrickfergus, two lots of friends in Bangor. I visited one or other every week. I enjoyed going to Bangor. I went to my family in the country, especially to my sister, taking out my nieces to the seaside especially Newcastle.
